About
I am not your standard minister. I’m also not your best friend who got ordained online to officiate your wedding.
Although I earned a demanding and rigorous Master of Divinity degree like some of my Christian colleagues, I’m not a Christian minister. I am an ordained and fellowshipped Unitarian Universalist minister. In my day job, I support a diverse group of atheists, humanists, naturalists, pagans, Christians, Jews, Buddhists, Hindus, and Muslims. My congregation is Miami Valley Unitarian Universalist Fellowship: https://mvuuf.org. While we believe different things about God, we unite in our shared belief that all human beings are sacred.
I am a bodacious, late-blooming queer woman who is an unapologetic lefty-liberal. (Okay, I admit the bodacious part is a little aspirational at this point.) I am working for a world where everyone flourishes, and the sacredness of every individual is celebrated. My core values are authenticity, radical acceptance, and courageous love. I find the Holy all around me, including within me and you. I believe we are held by a Love that will not let us go.
In addition to serving as a wedding celebrant, I offer Prepare/Enrich Premarital Counseling (https://www.prepare-enrich.com) for an additional fee (premarital counseling is not required).
